This is the Elden Ring Travelogue of the Bandit Kilos Harsigan. He is a grizzled, wiry old man. Leathery skin, a strong body. Blonde hair and beard, shot through with gray. An old sea-farer, now a Bandit in the Lands Between.

I wake. A ruined church?

An ornate red, embroidered carpet leads to a door, faintly glowing like a spotlight shines upon it. A figure is dead, slumped. A finger is on their corpse. In my pockets are a Memory of Grace. I seem not to be the first Tarnished to come here, for the Elden Ring, for this hints at a Grace that led others here.

I emerge to see a great golden tree, looming like a mountain over a vast chasm. This seems to be the Chapel of Anticipation.

A rickety bridge leads across a ravine to some kind of open yard. A sinister yet… kind? statue of a woman, arms outstretched, surrounded by thick… roots?

Some kind of… crab? has swiftly murdered me.

A horse… a woman. The Golden Order?

Flasks of Tears… in my pocket. A woman, ghostly, sitting by a pit. A set of stairs, flanked by stone figures, lead up from a glowing sapling.

The figure by the pit tells me to jump in. Not just yet. … I jump in. I find a pool of light on the ground, a Site of Grace. It is like the setting sun reflecting off the ocean, ripples distorting the image.

Apparently this is the Cave of Knowledge. This seems more like a smuggler’s cave. Skeletons, in clothes with rusty swords, menace me. I dispatch them. Their death gives me… something?

A figure fires arrows at me from an arch, overgrown with vines and flying above a misty cavern.

Not skeletons, but emaciated corpses. Some knights. The Soldier of Godrick guards a large watery cave. He is slain. I have opened the doors atop the staircase.

The torches burn with a white flame. A wall of mist blocks off an archway to a large room. A statue of two sassy looking imps stands in front of the mist. It asks for a Stonesword Key. I lack one.

Stone pillars surround a stone circle in the floor in the next room. An elevator of a kind. It raises me through a circular stone tunnel in the ceiling after I step on a panel in the center. A metal curtain-like door stands between me and the world outside. Limgrave, this is.

The Tree Sentinel nearly struck me a fatal blow, while my knife did not even scratch him. I shall go a different direction.

I am… maidenless, says a man outside the crypt I woke up in. VarrĂ©, his name is. He tells me of Castle Stormveil, where Godrick the Grafted awaits.

An eagle sits every few hundred feet on the cliffs. What do they watch? Broken ships poke from the sea off the coast.

Near a cliff, zombies with torches stand by others who paw at the ground. The ones with torches are hostile. The others cower in fear.

The door to a tomb lies in a cliff wall out of view. Stormfoot Catacombs they are called. A ghost speaks of the Erdtree, and returning to it.

Some vicious little imp bloodied me! How rude. These catacombs are beyond me now. Must return later.

Found Groveside Cave. A site of grace lies within. It seems sore powerful enemy lies below. I shall return another time.

Killed in the Gatefront Ruins! Bastard knights.
